Ridge Manor Oaks Golf & Country Club, formerly Whispering Oaks Country Club, newly changed to 'THE RIDGE, is the olderst golf course in Hernando County, established in 1954.  The Course is greatly improved since being re-opened and renovated in 2009 by Former PGA Tour & Champions Tour Player Bob Carson and son Teke Carson.  All eighteen greens have been completely redesigned, larger and with undulation that will challenge anyone's game, and built to USGA specifications.  The eighteen hole layout consists of an "Oaks" nine, with narron fairways hugged by numerous hundred year old oaks,  and a "Dunes" nine, open with waste bunkers and links-style grasses bordering the fairways.   

There are currently openings on the Mens' and Womens' and Couples' Association schedules, or you can bring or start your own leagues.  Please contact the Pro Shop for additional information.  We are also offering special 'group rates'.
